Over 27 years’ experience in commercial & residential roofing systems, and over 5 years as Expert Witness and roof damage evaluations origin causations, extent of damages, as well as a Mold Assessor and OSHA 10 construction workplace Certified. FAA UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System) Certified.
Mr. Huzdup is the Senior Quality Assurance and Roofing Testing Inspector Expert at CeBB Engineering & Testing.
Patricia Acosta
Office Manager
BA in International Affairs, Florida State University. Born in NY and raised in South Florida and Colombia, SA.
Patricia Acosta joined CeBB Engineering & Testing with over 25 years’ experience in accounting, property management and real estate services.
Patricia possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience to the administrative branch of our company in addition to streamlining office operations and accounting, helping employees stay organized and increase workplace productivity.
Adrian Ilie, MA, MR, CA
Operations Manager
Romanian born and educated. Over 15 years’ experience in commercial and residential roofing testing and inspections.
Mold Assessor and Remediator, Insurance Adjuster.
OSHA 10 Certified
Mr. Ilie is Currently pursuing the Registered Roof Observer license with IIBEC
Eduard C Badiu, PhD, P.E., CGC, CCC, CA, NE
Founder and Principal Engineer of CeBB Engineering & Testing Co.
Romanian Born and Educated. Former Fire-Fighter.
MS in Civil Engineering (1993), Doctoral Degree in Mechanical Engineering (2016).
Supervised and Managed as Qualifying Engineer in Responsible Charge in excess of 20,000 mandatory roof testing procedures.
Conducted close to 4,000 property damage insurance investigation cases for origin, causation, extent of damages, and appropriate methods of repair in 16 States and 1 US Territories.
Served as Subject Matter Expert & Expert Witness in almost 400 depositions and 16 trials.
Serves since 2008 as Structural Specialist (StS) with FEMA-USACE Florida Task Force 2 and Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BSO) – Department of Fire Rescue & Emergency Services, Technical-Rescue-Team.
Authored and Co-Authored published Articles.
Speaker at Various Insurance Industry seminars, symposiums and events.
Member of ASCE, NSPE, and Voting member with ASTM. OSHA 10 Certified.
Beatriz Martinez Moreno
Legal Assistant
Colombian born and educated. Obtained her law degree from Universidad Republicana en Bogota, Colombia. 12 years’ experience in labor law.
Joined CeBB Engineering & Testing assisting as a legal clerk for all of our litigation needs.
George Chirita, MA, MR
Engineering Technician
Romanian born and educated. Apprenticeship in Architecture and Surveying.
During his first and current tenure with CeBB Engineering & Testing he brings over 10 years’ experience in commercial & residential roofing testing and inspections in Florida.
OSHA 10 Certified.
Carlos A. Cely Ricaurte
Engineering Technician / AUTOCAD Operator
Quickly adapting to the new tasks corresponding to the position and able to perform activities required in project development.
Generating solutions and/or alternative practices; recommending new systems, procedures, methodologies and organizational changes; preparing recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, methodologies or organizational changes; making recommendations through presentations and written reports.
Mr. Cely has a rich background in Electrical Engineering (in Colombia), possessing a vast knowledge in Electrical Design and implementation of such; making him a great asset for our Team.
Stefan Badiu
Software/Programming Intern
Creating fully functional calculators, with a user-friendly interface and PDF export and manipulation functionality, to create documents suitable for official use for clients and within the firm.
Developing engineering program(s) gear to assist the Engineer, Roof Consultant and Technician in routinely performing calculations based on the requirements of ASCE Design Manual, and Current Edition of the Florida Building Code, using similar concepts (GUI, PDF, etc.)
